This really cute ceramic bisque skeletons figurine. These skeletons stands abut 6 tall by 9 inches wide by 2 1/2inches wide. This ceramic bisque piece is made from a vintage American made mold dating from the 1970s or 1980s. This will make a really lovely Halloween decoration for you table or fireplace mantle. You could paint or glaze it with realistic colors, pastel shades or even in with some really vibrant colors. The possibilities are endless. All of the bisque items in my shop have been fired at cone 06 from greenware. Making it ready to decorate in the method of your choice. All of the pieces are ready to be painted or stained with acrylic paint. Or, if you would like, you can use under glaze and then coat it with a clear glaze and fire it again in a kiln. The story behind this shop is; I purchased a local ceramic shop from an elderly couple that was going out of business. The woman that owned the shop has been in the ceramic business since she was 9 years old where she helped her mother run her shop (70+ years total). So this shop has been a family business with a few name changes throughout the years. All of the ceramic bisque pieces were poured and fired by her and her husband. I feel very honored that they have entrusted me to carry out this business and I hope I do them proud. I have hundreds of pieces I will be selling in this shop and the proceeds are going to help me set up my ceramic studio at my home. Once I have the studio set up, I will be able to take custom orders. I purchased thousands of vintage molds ranging from the 1950s to 2000s.
