For the price of nearly $30, this set is not worth it compared to regular $30 sets that are more substantial. The pieces are disjoint, random pieces that feel like an overstock bag of extra piece randomness spread into 24 tiny packets. All the builds are super tiny. The Lego minifigures are detailed but tiny - the kids figures are now the micro Polly Pocket size with fewer movable parts. The animal figures are even tinier, we're getting into the microscopic territory. On top of that the box is super flimsy - the separators between the windows have such gaps between them, that if the child is not very careful, the tiny items keep falling through from the top window to the bottom windows that haven't been opened yet & get stuck there until the bottom windows get opened several days later, causing tears.

Lego shrinkflation is real. Had this set cost half the price, we would have enjoyed it more.

My daughter loves playing with lego, this is the first lego gift I received from influence. I let her open the gift box herself and she was very surprised and excited with this gift. That night she hugged the gift and slept all night. The lego set is very beautiful and because it is fragile, it was packaged very carefully. I really like lego products because it will help teach children to be more patient when they need to complete a product they love. I see that the value of these items on the market is not cheap. And lego is always favored by children as well as adults, lego products are becoming more and more popular at home and abroad. I am very grateful to lego for always bringing us many good and colorful products.Regarding durability, I find lego toys to be very hard and not fragile at all, even though the products are always carefully packaged.

I haven't opened this yet as it is not December! I really wanted the free gift when I ordered from the friends theme! I have had this in the past. It was the year that each item could be an ornament! I loved it and wish that Lego would do that again! I enjoy the excitement every morning during Advent to see what is behind the window. The tiny builds are often a winter festival scene,so this year looks like a young family. I love little details such as the poop for a pet,with a shovel of course. Some of the designs can be repeated with your own Lego collection,like these snowmen. It is fun that even the music notes on a piece are a real tune. The tiny furniture is easy to incorporate into a scene for play.

okay, it may be assumed this is a girls only set... that is just wrong okay just plain wrong. I bought this for my work team. 24 members myself included so we all got a special build. Terry even got the special mom one. the entire office was so overjoyed... JOY TO THE WORLD LEGO HAS COME (btw the office is not at all in reference to the show. had some confusion when I posted my review on amazon)
