We returned this item because every time we have gone to Home Depot the skelly dogs head has broke at the neck if you touch the head .

Poor design, a lot of kids will automatically touch the head when they walk up to it .

We witnessed this happen 4 times.

For the price the quality is not there .

I had originally ordered one from Home Depot website and after a week never received a tracking number.

Went in to store and they had just set their display so we grabbed one .

But returned it before opening because of the issues we witnessed with the dog .

Was also told by 2 different Home Depot employees that a lot were being returned because they were broke .

Sad because I was looking forward to this product ever since it was announced.

We replaced it with the fear Valley wolf .

Will visit Home Depot stores in our area again after Labor Day weekend to see how well the wolf stands up to the public .

Let’s start with the fact that it was fraudulently displayed as 7 feet tall and it’s not even 7 feet wide as the make up photo suggests!! Electronic panel doesn’t work, connection for the tail broke off. Customer service, manufacturer AND Home Depot are horrendous! I told them that I needed part K from the very beginning and even labeled the email that way I have spoke with no less than half a dozen people via email and phone call to try to get this problem solved. It’s been over two weeks of back-and-forth. The part to attach the tail is finally getting shipped, but as for the electronics, they basically told me too bad. At one point, they offered me a $50 refund that I still have yet to see. I absolutely would not, I repeat not recommend this product!

I like the idea of this dog but he has some problems. First, the assembly wasn't great. Pieces didn't fit well and the screws included were terrible quality and stripped out well before I could get them halfway tightened. Also, there's no memory on this like there is in skelly. So when you plug him into a timer with the rest of your decorations, he doesn't come back on the next night. You have to go manually turn it on every single day. The only way to bypass this is to put 4 c batteries in him and use the timer that's built in. It really needs these bugs worked out but it's a shame myself and a lot of other people spent 200 bucks on such a flawed decoration.

I very much love this Skelly dog which I obtained in September and assembled Oct1. He is fairly sturdy so far and very cute. He was not easy to put together (and I am someone who assembles things quite often) as screw holes were not lined up in places and things did not easily fit together as they were supposed to. I am a little concerned about the gaps in some of his bones making him less weatherproof. His eyes have worked great, they come on every night via my smart timer. I also added the 12ft Skeleton light kit to him which was easy and also works great! I just wish he was a little bit better made, we'll see how long he holds up for!
