August 19, 2024These do run small, and the lighter color that would be pale blue, Ojia Blue maybe, runs the smallest. The two I own did not stretch at all. They have not been machine washed yet, just surface washed and sprayed with Bounce spray. The biggest issue with all of the Levi’s 501 shorts is the backside fit. They smoosh any curves you might have on your butt, or called a bum if you’re British, Irish or Australian. The front looks great, even when they are slightly tight in the waist, but the back has a flat look. The cut of the shorts doesn’t curve around the butt. It has a stiff and flat look in the back. Even after wearing them over and over, the material doesn’t get that soft and relaxed feeling, front of back.
Perfect in pink

August 26, 2024Soft, stretchy, comfortable, big pockets. This style has the paper jacron instead of leather or cloth, which always irks me very slightly but it's still surprisingly durable. It's attached with a single line of stitching so if you hate it it's easy to remove. I'm actually a length 28 in trousers but that's always sold out so I make do with 30s. Like most white and very pale "jeans" these stretch twill trousers will show bold patterned knickers, or vibrant colours, and I think they'd be liable to show tattoos too. I don't have any boring nude knickers anymore but I had some peachy pink tye dye ones and they worked the ticket for not showing. I am enjoying the 721 for high rise comfort.
Who doesn’t love a pair of 501 cutoff shorts??

June 20, 2024The shorts are very stylish and fit well. I sized up for a more relaxed, 90’s fit. The shorts are short and slightly shorter in front than back-that’s the style these days. I have the light blue wash with the holes in the front and the darker wash. I am gonna give these a try and pull them down a bit for a mid rise fit and extra inch to the length! Very beachy and sooo summer!
Great for curvy girls

April 9, 2021I usually have to buy curvy fit jeans because my waist is considerably smaller than my hips/butt which is 44.5”. I’m usually a size 28 curvy fit in True Religion, or size 5 or 7 in fashion nova jeans (depending on how stretchy it is), a size 29 in Rock Revival (which are very heavy jeans and have no stretch), and a size 29 in these shorts fit me perfectly. I absolutely love that these are mid rise because I sincerely hate high rise shorts. They shorts go just underneath my belly button, and I love it since I can wear it with crop tops. I got these shorts in white and I love that they’re thick enough to not show my black underwear that I was wearing. It’s hard to find thick white shorts nowadays. I want to add that if you DO want to wear these in a high rise style, you will be able to do so by simply pulling the shorts up, and your cheeks still won’t show. Additionally, the waist band is slightly stretchy, but if you want to avoid muffin top, just go with your usual size. I was honestly afraid that these shorts would flatten my butt or that these shorts would look weird on my figure, but they didn’t. I’m blown away! I didn’t think I would love these shorts this much. I highly recommend these for every figure. I would like to add that if you don’t have a big butt and are skinny all over, go one size down if you want a tighter but still comfortable fit.
