I had been eyeing a Bogg bag for a few months as they appeared very functional and practical for day to day use. However, I was taken aback by the price of something that had the look of a Croc shoe, so had held off. After struggling with a sagging tote bag getting wet at my daughter's swim lessons I decided to give them another look. That's when I came across this Dillards x Southern Living design. For $10 more than a solid colored one, I could get this beautiful design! The colors are more subtle than the bright pop of color I normally gravitate towards but is a beautiful pattern. My local Dillards only received one of each size in stock so I went ahead and picked up both the original (huge) size and the medium. The medium is perfect for day to day and the large for specific outings that require me to schlep around more items than normal. Both have two clear pouches that I can customize the placement of. I used the large one for an outdoor picnic we attended and it not only held all my smaller necessities but the equipment for several outdoor games and a 20' plastic parachute the kids played with. The handles held up like a champ, even under all that weight. The bag itself is durable and easy to clean. When I first looked at the handles on these bags they seemed difficult to lift up and lower down, I always ended up twisting them weird, making a loop. My local Dillards associate, without me asking, showed me at check out how to correctly raise and lower the straps, it's such a cinch and I was so thankful she took the time to show me! Just today I saw a news article that said this was the "it bag of the summer". I am not surprised, as it is not just a hype, these really are a durable, convenient bag. It stands on its own and is up to the task on whatever you need to load in it. I also read that Bogg we be coming out with more accessories to customize the storage layout of the bag itself so I look forward to using this bag for years to come!
Undupeable

I received a Bogg bag a few years ago as a gift before they were really trending. I didn’t realize how expensive they were, but I remember being surprised by how durable and nice the bag was. Fast forward to this past summer, I saw dupes at Aldi, and immediately—they’re very inferior dupes. Much thinner, flimsy, look obviously cheaper. I will be the first to tell you that the Aldi/Amazon dupes are still functional bags, and if it being a little floppy and flimsy with rough seams doesn’t bother you, then save your coin. But, the Bogg bags are truly in their own league. It may look like a “croc” bag, but it is actually a firmer material than crocs. We have the bitty bag, which we use for my daughter’s dance in the fall/spring, and swim bag during the summer. We use our regular full size Bogg bag for SO many different things—reusable shopping bag, library bag (it holds SO MANY BOOKS! with zero strain), swim gear, “clean out the car” bag, overnight trips to grandparents, transporting wet winter gear like boots and snow pants, dog stuff for boarding, I could go on. And you may think you’ve got plenty of canvas totes or plastic recycled shopping bags laying around, but the structure, shape, material and free standing of this bag have really set it apart for me. And, almost 3 years of very heavy use later, it still looks completely brand new.
[Rewarded Review] Now I know what all the fuss is about

I’ve been using my Bogg Bag for many months now, and I really LOVE it! I love how much it holds and how durable it is; I love how sturdy it is and how stable it is when standing; I love that it’s waterproof, and that I don’t have to worry about it getting dirty (wipes right off); and I love all the fun colors it comes in and the cool/fun accessories available for the bag (e.g., drink holders, zippered pouches, jewels & beads, charms, handle covers, etc.). The only thing I don’t love is the price, but that’s the reality these days for name brand items. Luckily it’s super great quality, so at least you get what you pay for. And it’s one of those things you can ask for as a gift from your significant other/parents/kids, or you can use your rewards money/certificates on a treat for yourself! :)
[Rewarded Review] Great bag, overpriced

Been looking at this bag for awhile. The main thing keeping me away was the price. I finally decided to buy it because I had coupons / rewards money and needed a bag for my son's swim lessons. It works great for that purpose. The bottom is solid so even if I place the bag in a watery spot, everything inside stays dry. The size is very big so it holds everything (swimsuits, towels, sandals, diapers, my wallet, snacks, changing pad, etc. etc.). The bag itself is kind of heavy so once you add everything else in the bag, the whole thing becomes pretty heavy. I wish the straps were a little longer so you could throw it over your shoulder easier. I recommend this bag, but only if you can use coupons and rewards money to make it cheaper.
