Really disappointed. Coming apart at the seams.

July 2, 2024I always thought that Fruit of the Loom was a better 'quality' maker of sports clothing. I bought the pants (2 pair) and after light wearing of one pair just in the house, they are coming apart at the seams between the legs. A complete separation at the point where the seams come together between the legs, and you can see 'daylight' through the stitching in the seams there, so its just a matter of wearing and time before the rest of the seams totally separate. Now, to save these pants I have to over-sew the pant seams back together and that will take me more time and effort than I expected to have 'NEW' Fruit of the Loom clothing. I bought 2 pair of these pants and only wore one pair so far, I'm too disapointed, and its now too hot, to wear the second pair. I'm expecting the second pair to separate in the same area between the legs. I really didn't want to complain here and to just accept it as a sign of the times, but over time it finally bothered me enough to raise the complaint and I still have to sew NEW 'quality' sweatpants back together.
[Rewarded Review] Not What They Used to Be

July 6, 2024I was pleased to find these old-school sweatpants still offered, and at a very reasonable price. I have a pair of the same product that is almost 10 years old, and I must say, the new version doesn't quite measure up to what they used to be.
The elastic waist has become wimpy; the elastic on my old pair is wider, thicker, and strong enough to keep the sweatpants up without tying the drawstring. Not so on the new ones; without the drawstring being tied, they will slip down. They are less comfortable with an unyielding drawstring, made more noticeable by the thinner waistband.
These sweatpants also seem to fit a little snugger and are a little shorter than the old version. While they are very soft, they are just not quite as comfortable as the old version.
Sizing in the seat and legs was wrong

October 13, 2024I ordered this item in size 3XL. The seat is marginally sized correctly. The legs are not sized properly at all. The thighs were snugged and the calf sections were very baggy above the cuff with the elastic.
I bought this product for many years. Ever since Fruit of the Loom moved their production from the US to Central America, sizing has always been hit or miss. You never knew if you would get the correct size or fit.
I ended up returning both of the Fruit of the Loom sweatpants I purchased on this order.
Walmart should exert pressure on Fruit of the Loom to improve their size measurements for items produced for sale in the US.
[Rewarded Review] Worked perfect for my 12-yr-old son (5'5" and 125 lbs)

April 23, 2024For reference, I am a woman and I bought these for myself. I am tall for a girl (5'10"). Very often, men's sweats will fit me better because of the extra length. These were super comfortable, but they didn't fit me quite right through the hip and butt (obviously because they are supposed to fit a male frame). I ended up giving them to my 12-year-old son (my very tall 12-year-old son who had the audacity to start puberty and is about to outgrow me). They fit him really well. He thought they were way more comfortable than his Nike sweats and asked me to order him a pair in every color. Buying all these sweatpants (one in every color available) was still cheaper than buying ONE pair of his Nike sweats. Win-Win!
